The town of Figueiró dos Vinhos is designed between the "cimo da vila," the highest area, and the main square.

It is this ensemble that forms the Historic Center of Figueiró dos Vinhos, where some original features of medieval and 16th-century architecture are preserved, visible in the layout of the buildings and the granite thresholds of the doors and windows.
