Located in the Ribeira de Mega, downstream from the Poço das Cabras Reservoir, it is part of the intermunicipal hiking trail PR 10 PGR Trilho do Castelo Vale D'Armunha.

Associated with this reservoir is a small waterfall with a reservoir of fresh and clear water, reflecting the quality of the region's natural resources, as well as the ruins of a watermill that was once important to the villagers.

Here, the air is also fresh and relaxing, the landscape is green, and the sounds of birds and water are melodious, inspiring, and relaxing.
