Cabril Dam
Booking
Inauguration: 1954.
The Cabril Dam attracts many visitors not only because of the grandeur of its reservoir, considered one of the largest freshwater reserves in Portugal, but also because it is surrounded by a forest of maritime pines, eucalyptus, acacias and olive trees that are part of the Northern Interior Pine Forest Zone.
The River Beach located here has ample leisure space, much sought after for boat trips, fishing (especially largemouth bass) and diving in the fresh waters of the Zêzere River.
